Nevada jeweler snags sweepstakes’ grand prize

Leroy Kisling of Rogers Jewelry Co. in Reno, Nev. is another grand prize winner in Frederick Goldman’s “ArtCarved in Rome” sweepstakes.

New York--Leroy Kisling of Rogers Jewelry Co. in Reno, Nev. is another grand prize winner in Frederick Goldman’s “ArtCarved in Rome” sweepstakes.

Retail sales associates at ArtCarved authorized dealers in the country were automatically entered into the sweepstakes when they sold and activated the warranty on a ring from its bridal collection. There were two separate entry periods and four winners total--two sales associates and two consumers.

ArtCarved is a bridal jewelry division of New York-based Frederick Goldman Inc.

Kisling is the winning sales associate in the second round of the sweepstakes, and chose to receive a cash prize of $4,500 in lieu of a trip for two to Rome. He said he’ll use the cash for an all-inclusive trip to the Caribbean this summer.

Kisling has been selling ArtCarved rings at Rogers Jewelry for nearly 25 years.

“I have seen people fall in love with the classic, yet modern designs that ArtCarved offers,” he said, adding that his own first wedding band was from the brand.

On the consumer side of the contest, Christia Brown of East Syracuse, N.Y. and Justin Litt of Maple Grove, Minn. were the winners, also receiving a six-night getaway in Rome for two. To enter the contest, consumers did not have to make a purchase but enter via entry form at an ArtCarved retailer or signing up online on the ArtCarved in Rome website.

The winners in the sweepstakes were selected via random drawing under the supervision of an independent judging organization.
