KDM opening showcase supply service to retailers

Cincinnati --Stuller Inc. is transitioning out of store interiors and will direct jewelers to KDM Retail going forward, the two companies told National Jeweler.
KDM previously played a behind-the-scenes role working with Stuller’s Interiors department, which was launched in May 2012 to help retailers maximize the potential of their space and best display their inventory.
Stuller said that it will no longer have the department per se, instead focusing on jewelry manufacturing and supply, and so will refer its customers interested in those products and services directly to KDM.
Concurrent with the transition, KDM has hired former Director of Interiors for Stuller David Hollingshead as the national account manager for the jewelry and specialty retailer verticals.
While at Stuller, Hollingshead and his team led the design of a number of award-winning interiors, including Phoenix’s Schmitt Jewelers and Searcy, Ariz.-based Tara & Co. Diamonds.
