New York--Home and decorative arts designer Michael Aram has expanded into fine jewelry with the launch of a sterling silver and 18-karat gold collection that debuted in stores at the end of August.
Pieces in the collection, which include necklaces, pendants, earrings and rings with diamonds and gemstones, range from $250 to $15,000 retail.
The collection carries a nature-inspired theme, depicting tree bark, leaf and feather motifs.
“Nature offers limitless design inspiration,” Aram said. “My vision is to share the gift of nature with my collectors through something personal they can wear and cherish every day.”
Aram has been sculpting in metal for more than 25 years, and his offerings range from tableware to furniture, sold in galleries and specialty stores around the globe. He also works on private commission and creates one-offs for gallery shows.
The line launched at Michael Aram’s flagship store in New York, at Bloomingdale’s and Neiman Marcus and is being sold by independent retailer Louis Anthony Jewelers in Pittsburgh. Additional information on the collection can be found on the Michael Aram Jewelry website.
