London--The council of the London-based Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) announced that it is delaying its annual general meeting, which was slated to take place June 24, due to the need to resolve internal matters.
The meeting has been postponed until “various internal matters have been duly examined, debated, and concluded,” Gem-A said but provided no further details on what those internal matters involve.
The board is working to resolve the issues and will announce a revised date for the meeting accordingly, the council said.
