JTV hosting third annual gem conference
Jewelry Television is holding its third Gem Lovers’ conference at its headquarters in Knoxville.
Knoxville, Tenn.--Jewelry Television is holding its third Gem Lovers’ conference at its headquarters in Knoxville.
The three-day event, held Wednesday through Friday, brings internationally renowned gemstone experts to teach customers, designers and other enthusiasts about the latest in gemstones and jewelry.
The conference keynote speaker is Shelly Sergent of Somewhere in the Rainbow, an organization that speaks to gallery owners, museum curators, gemologists, modern jewelry designers and gem collectors.
Meanwhile, class sessions are conducted by Doug Hucker, CEO of the American Gem Trade Association; Antoinette Matlins, author and former gemology editor at National Jeweler; Amanda Adkins from the television show Prospectors; Craig Lynch, owner of jewelry appraisal firm Ouellet & Lynch; and Bryan Lees from Collector’s Edge Minerals Inc., among others.

During the conference, JTV also will debut a new collection called Bellarri, a colored gemstone collection designed by Bellarri Adleman, at its Knoxville retail location, the GemStore.
To celebrate the launch, GemStore will host “A Night Out at the GemStore by Jewelry Television,” a viewing and shopping event for Gem Lovers’ conference guests on Friday.
