New York--American Gemological Laboratories (AGL) will conduct on-site testing of colored stones for identification, enhancement and origin at the upcoming American Gem Trade Association GemFair.
AGL will be testing from Feb. 4 to 9 at Booth 23 in the main hall of the Tucson Convention Center as well as in the Agate Suite.
The testing is part of AGL’s outreach program, which aims to support national and international clients by providing off-site services that are of the same quality as the services available in the New York lab, AGL said.
Stones will be accepted for analysis on a first-come, first-served basis.
Anyone interested in having stones tested should stop by the booth, or make an appointment ahead of time by calling the AGL offices in New York at 212-704-0727. During the fair, AGL can be reached at 646-468-9110.
