New York’s 24 Karat Club Banquet Is Moving
Called off due to the pandemic this year, the event is set to return on Jan. 15, 2022.

New York—The 24 Karat Club of the City of New York announced the return of its annual banquet in 2022, but it will take place at a new location.
The annual gala is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022 at Cipriani South Street.
Cipriani South Street is located at 10 South Street, at the very southern tip of Manhattan in the circa 1906 Beaux-Arts Battery Maritime Building.
The last of New York City’s old East River ferry terminals, the recently renovated space has separate pre-function rooms, a loggia (covered outdoor corridor), and a historic Great Hall with its original skylight.
The 2022 banquet of the 24 Karat Club will mark the organization’s 120th anniversary and, after years at the Waldorf Astoria in midtown Manhattan, will be the first one held at Cipriani South Street.

“This new venue promises an elegant evening for all 24 Karat Club members and their guests,” club President Edward N. DeCristofaro said in a press release.
“After a long and challenging time, we are excited to plan this in-person event and to provide an iconic New York experience.”
Like all the regular January events, the 24 Karat Club’s annual banquet did not take place this year due to ongoing concerns over COVID-19.
It was canceled entirely, while the annual luncheons of the Jewelers’ Security Alliance and Jewelers Vigilance Committee migrated online and the Gem Awards was postponed to July.
