WJA Student Scholarships Open for Applications
The deadline to apply for the scholarships is April 18.

New York--The Women’s Jewelry Association now is accepting applications for its student scholarship program.
The scholarships provide financial support to students enrolled in a jewelry or metalsmithing program at an accredited college, university or training school.
Membership in WJA is not required.
Scholarships are awarded in three categories:
--Designer/creator category, based on images of finished pieces that were designed and created by the student;
--Designer category, based on designs (doesn’t have to be a finished piece) by the student and includes CAD and drawings; and
--Non-designer category, which is based on an essay and is for those studying to be a gemologist, appraiser, watchmaker, bench jeweler or retailer.
The deadline for application is Tuesday, April 18.
To apply, visit CallForEntry.org.
Funds for scholarships and grants are provided by the WJA Foundation through member donations, the annual Awards for Excellence Gala auction, corporate sponsors, individual donors and from the association’s chapters across the country.
