Watch brand Sector packed a punch into its 2011 re-entrance into the United States market with an appearance at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at the Lincoln Center in New York City last Thursday.
An active lifestyle brand with Italian design influences, Sector displayed its men’s and women’s collections in the CIRCA accessories salon, including the exclusive Shark Master collection, the features of which appeal to divers.
“Watch brands aren’t normally featured at Fashion Week, so it was exciting that CIRCA offered a platform for us to showcase our designs,” Phil Schwetz, president of Sector USA, said. “Watches have become an increasingly important fashion accessory, and with Sector’s Italian designs, there was a natural synergy.”
Supermodel Veronica Webb joined Schwetz at the salon as Sector USA’s new fashion director.
