Breitling Watches Now Being Sold on Mr Porter
The Swiss watchmaker has introduced a limited-edition wristwatch to mark its partnership with the online men’s luxury retailer.

New York--Breitling is now selling its wristwatches on luxury e-tailer Mr Porter, and has introduced a new timepiece to mark the occasion.
Mr Porter, the men’s counterpart to sister company Net-a-Porter, will sell 31 Breitling models on its website, 25 of which were listed at press time.
Breitling CEO Georges Kern said in a press release: “Breitling and Mr Porter share common values of quality, exclusivity, and an affinity for exceptional products, which make us proud to partner with the leading online retail destination for men’s style. This is an important step in Breitling’s omnichannel strategy and perfectly fits our digital vision to offer a unique brand experience to a broader audience around the globe.”
The models currently for sale on MrPorter.com start at $3,825 for the Avenger II GMT Automatic 43mm watch in steel and rubber, and cap off at $29,815 for an 18-karat gold and crocodile timepiece from the Navitimer range.
The Navitimer 8 collection was launched earlier in the year, and Breitling’s new limited-edition wristwatch in honor of its Mr Porter partnership is an extension to the range.
The Navitimer Aviator 8 B01 Chronograph 43 is limited to 1,000 pieces.
It features the Breitling Manufacture Caliber B01 mechanical watch movement, and is a COSC-certified chronometer.
The model has a silver dial and anthracite chronograph with small seconds subdials. The satin-brushed dial features indexes, Arabic numerals and a practical pointer.
The timepiece’s movement is visible through the transparent sapphire caseback, and it comes on a brown leather strap.
For the month of June, the limited-edition watch is available exclusively on MrPorter.com. Starting in July, it will also be sold at Breitling stores and at select Breitling retailers.
The Navitimer 8 collection is inspired by the characteristics of a classic pilot’s watch.
Willy Breitling established the Huit Aviation Department in 1938, with Huit representing “eight” in French, signifying the need for cockpit instruments to have an eight-day power supply reserve. The Navitimer 8 pays homage to the Huit Aviation Department, specifically the Reference 768, which was popular for its rotating bezel and distinctive triangular pointer.
The Navitimer Aviator 8 B01 Chronograph 43 retails for $7,710.
