New York--Citizen Watch America has promoted two members of its team to c-suite positions.
Ellen Seckler has been named chief marketing officer and Susan Chandler has been appointed chief merchandising officer.
In her new role, Seckler will oversee the respective marketing departments for all brands under the Citizen Watch America umbrella: Citizen, Bulova, Frederique Constant, Alpina and Ateliers deMonaco.
The watch company said each brand will continue to build their unique identities in the market with differentiated advertising, marketing and brand campaigns.
Seckler has more than 30 years of experience, starting her career at North American Watch and Movado Group and also holding roles at Gucci Group and Swatch Group.
She started at Citizen in February 2012 as the integrated marketing director and most recently served as executive vice president of marketing. She led the brand’s growth into the digital sphere with the evolution of its website and the launch of e-commerce.
Chandler, meanwhile, will oversee the product development and merchandising functions for the Citizen and Bulova brands.
She has more than 25 years’ experience, having held senior roles at Avon Products, Frederick Goldman, Scott Kay and David Yurman. In these positions, she was responsible for driving brand growth through product development and merchandising, as well as optimizing product performance and increasing profitability.
Chandler joined Bulova in early 2016 as senior vice president of merchandising, overseeing all brands in the Bulova portfolio and reorganizing and implementing product direction, merchandising and pricing strategies for growth.
