At 25, I can't help but feel just slightly offended when someone I encounter learns of my age and responds, "What? But you look like you're about 18!" I figure someday I'll thank my parents for passing on their youthful genes, but for the moment, I grit my teeth and remind myself that I'll be more than happy to hear such a comment 10 years down the road.
Which brings me to the age-defying Sharon Stone. At 49 (49!), she projects a freshness and vitality, not to mention a daring fashion sense, that only a lucky few can ever hope to attain. As Master of Ceremonies at the opening of the new Dior Boutique on Paris' exclusive Avenue Montaigne, Stone tops off her Dior gown (gallery girl's dream or sartorial misstep?) with Dior's Christal Chronograph, which features a bezel studded with diamond baguettes and a bracelet of shaded white-sapphire-crystal pyramids.
At Stone's right are fashion designer John Galliano, Madame Arnault and LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault.
