Couple Wanted for Store Diamond Switch in Oklahoma, Texas
The couple has hit four jewelry stores in a little over a month.
Moore, Okla.--A male and female couple are wanted by police for allegedly switching diamond rings with cubic zirconia versions at four different jewelry stores in Oklahoma and Texas since late May.
The thefts occurred in Arlington, Texas on May 24; Dallas, Texas on June 9; Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma on June 23; and Moore, Oklahoma on June 24.
Police released a video of the obtained from security footage from the Oklahoma City’s Zales store that was hit on June 23. The surveillance video was posted on Fox 25 News.
Afterwards, the female suspect says she has the car keys and needs to give them to the male suspect; she sets the ring down, which has been switched with a cubic zirconia version, and leaves the store.
The couple currently is wanted by police in both Oklahoma and Texas and still is at large.
