A wholesale jeweler pleaded guilty to a crime that involved stealing millions of dollars of platinum from a supplier’s vault, replacing it with scrap metal.
2. London Museum to Put 9,381-Carat Blue Topaz on Display
On long-term loan from the family of the man who discovered it in Brazil, London’s Natural History Museum will put the giant blue gem on permanent display later this month.
