I don’t usually have the opportunity to blog about jewelry I like. I am usually, as the English would say, banging on about generic diamond marketing or social media law.
Recently, though, I received an email from a jeweler I really like, London-based Theo Fennell, about his new “Rainforest” earrings.
Handcrafted in the jeweler’s workshop above his flagship store on London’s Fulham Road, which I had the privilege of visiting back in June, the earrings showcase two extremely rare 30.65-carat teardrop emeralds dangling from a pair of 18-karat yellow gold tree frogs (click on image for a larger version).
I think these earrings are a perfect example of the interesting quirks inherent in most emeralds.
The earrings are price upon request, which otherwise translates to “out of my budget,” and are available at the Theo Fennell flagship or on TheoFennell.com.
