Norwalk, Conn.—Reed Jewelry Group has hired luxury veteran Jim Fox as portfolio sales director for both the JCK and Luxury jewelry trade shows.
It is a new position for the company.
Reed said it added the position to help it become closer to its customers, giving the team the opportunity to listen to clients and act on feedback.
Fox joins the team with more than 20 years of sales and business development experience in the luxury market.
He served as sales director in Swarovski’s consumer products division for more than nine years, leading the company’s licensed boutique business. He opened 50 new stores and generated more than $50 million in new business at casinos, airports and traditional retail outlets, Reed said.
He also has sales experience in the fine writing instrument division of The Gillette Company, where he formed partnerships with such brands as Tiffany & Co., Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and independent jewelers.
“JCK is excited to have such a seasoned luxury sales veteran join the management team,” said Sarin Bachmann, event vice president of JCK and Luxury. “Jim’s values and history of approaching sales as a consulting strategy aligns with our passionate commitment to customer satisfaction.
