New York--The Select Jewelry Show has announced the dates for its 2017 fall shows in Dallas and Foxwoods, Connecticut.
The Dallas show will be held from Sept. 10 to 11 at the Ritz-Carlton Dallas, while the Foxwoods show will run from Sept. 17 to 18 at the Grand Pequot Ballroom and Tower at Foxwoods in Ledyard.
These regional shows are designed to address jewelers’ fourth quarter needs, offering short ordering and shipment times and limited on-site delivery.
Both shows also will offer education programs for attendees, held during breakfast before the show opens.
The morning of Sept. 10 in Dallas will feature “Making the Grade” by Susan Arlin of Brilliant Performance Group LLC, and the following morning’s speaker is James Porte, Porte Marketing, on “Print, Digital and Social Marketing for Your 4th Quarter.”
At Foxwood, the first morning’s education will be “Stay in the Now” with Jackie LeBental, trends editor at The Retail Jeweler magazine and owner of Barri Luxury Consulting, followed the next day by the aforementioned sessions from Arlin and Porte.
Both Select Shows also feature a Sunday evening cocktail party and the chance to win $10,000 in purchasing credits.
“It’s an important time of year for jewelers and our exhibitors are ready to assist,” said Select Show Director Jordan Brockhaus-Spears. “We’re also very pleased to offer hosting packages for qualified jewelers.”
