CPAA Elects New Board
Aziz Basalely of Eliko Pearl is the new president and Anil Maloo of Baggins Inc. is vice president.

East Providence, R.I.--The Cultured Pearl Association of America held its elections during the recent JCK Las Vegas show, naming a new governing board.
The newly elected president of the CPAA is Aziz Basalely of Eliko Pearl in New York.
He takes over for outgoing President Peter Bazar of Imperial Pearl, who has held two two-year terms.
Anil Maloo of Baggins Inc. in California is the elected vice president, while Jeremy Shepherd of Pearl Paradise in California takes the position of treasurer and Richard Blake of Grassman-Blake in New Jersey is the secretary.
The elected officials took their positions as of June 2.
