Colorado Timeworks to Hold Watch Repair Seminars This Summer
The Colorado Springs-based watch repair shop will bring back its three-day seminars in July and August.
Colorado Springs, Co.--Watch repair shop Colorado Timeworks is bringing back its three-day watch repair seminar this summer.
Attendees will learn how to successfully replace a watch battery, size bands, and replace crystals, stems, crowns and quartz movements.
They also will learn how to run their watch repair department to be profitable as well as marketing strategies to make their stores the go-to places in their communities for watches and watch repairs.
Colorado Timeworks is run by the Gendron family.
Son Jess Gendron is a regular columnist for National Jeweler (“Ask the Watch Guy”) and has written in the past about selling and closing repairs.
The classes, held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, are tailored to the skill level of the students, so prices will vary. All tools and supplies are included.
The classes are scheduled based on interest, so no set dates have been planned yet, but possible weekends include July 19 to 21, July 27 to 29, Aug. 11 to 13 and Aug. 19 to 21.
