Jewelers of America Announces Vegas Week Event Lineup
From a free cocktail reception to professional certification exams, JA has a full schedule planned for market week.

Las Vegas--Jewelers of America has a full schedule of events taking place during the upcoming Vegas market week.
The jewelry industry organization will have a booth at the JCK show--which is taking place from Monday, June 5 to Thursday, June 8 (with events starting Sunday, June 4)--where it will run a social contest to earn $500 in Facebook advertising.
The exams test participants on existing jewelry industry knowledge and help to increase consumer confidence and bolster national jewelry industry standards.
Exams cost $55 for JA members and $75 for non-members, but those who sign up ahead of time will receive $10 off. Registration is available on Jewelers.org.
The following is a list of all exams being offered.
JA Certified Sales Professional (CSP) – First Level
JA Certified Senior Sales Professional (CSSP) – Second Level
JA Certified Management Professional (CMP) – First Level
JA Certified Senior Management Professional (CSMP) – Second Level
On June 4, JA will participate in the Jewelers for Children “Rings of Strength” event, which can be walked, run, biked or participated in via a yoga class.
JA members can join the JA team at FirstGiving.com and will receive a gift for participation.
On Monday, June 5, JA will host a member meet-up with free cocktails, snacks and a photo booth. Sponsored by Synchrony Financial, the event is free to JA members.
JA President & CEO David J. Bonaparte said: “We know our members have a lot on their plates during trade shows and our goal is to enhance their trade show experience by providing opportunities to come together, celebrate, learn from one another and grow professionally. We also firmly believe that getting certified will help sales professionals and managers achieve greater trust from today’s jewelry consumers.”
