JFC, JA Will “Celebrate New York” During JA NY
The fundraising event with drinks, food and dancing will be held at the Javits Center on March 12, the opening day of the JA New York Spring show.
New York--Jewelers for Children and Jewelers of America have announced that their annual “Celebrate New York” fundraising event will coincide with the JA New York Spring Show.
Sponsored in part by Synchrony Financial, it will be held in the special events hall at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on Sunday, March 12 (the opening day of the show) from 6 to 9 p.m.
The event raises money and gains exposure for JFC with drinks, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, a DJ and dancing.
Proceeds will go toward supporting JFC’s partner charities: CASA, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Santa-America and Make-a-Wish America.
Tickets are $50 and can be obtained by filling out and returning this order form. Jewelers of America members can register for free online.
“Celebrate New York is a key opportunity to have a hometown presence here in New York City,” said David Rocha, executive director of Jewelers for Children.
“This event is a great opportunity to network with friends and colleagues in the relatively relaxed environment of New York City! Hosting the event on site at the Javits Center should serve to maximize both attendance, and awareness for the organization.”
