Train to Perform at JCK Rocks the Beach
The band known for the hits “Drops of Jupiter” and “Meet Virginia” will entertain the crowd at the Beach at Mandalay Bay on June 5 in Las Vegas.
New York--This year, award-winning musical group Train will perform at JCK’s Rocks the Beach party, which is scheduled for June 5 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Formed in 1993 in San Francisco, Train’s hits include “Drops of Jupiter,” Hey, Soul Sister” and “Meet Virginia.” The seven-man band released their most recent album, a Christmas record, last November.
Train has won numerous awards in its 25 years in the music business, including Top Rock Artist and Top Rock Song at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards, a Grammy Award for “Hey, Soul Sister” in 2011 and two additional Grammys for “Drops of Jupiter” in 2002. The band also has been nominated for various other awards more than 10 times.
JCK’s Rocks the Beach party is open to registered JCK Las Vegas attendees only. Ticket centers open on the Friday and Saturday of the show (June 3 and 4) with a redemption of one ticket per badge, with limited availability.
The show will begin at 8:30 p.m. on June 5 and run until 11 p.m.
