Los Angeles--Three retailers who took five minutes to check out Charles Garnier’s new collection at the JCK Las Vegas show last month are now owners of the new Apple Watch.
In an effort to promote its new Mesh collection, Charles Garnier Paris set up a promotion where it would raffle the $10,000, 18-karat yellow gold Apple Watch Edition and two other Apple watches at its booth at the JCK Show on June 1.
Those who wanted to enter the raffle just needed to book a five-minute appointment to see the Mesh collection at the show.
Winning the grand prize, the 18-karat gold Apple Watch, was Steel’s Jewelry in Valdosta, Ga. Elizabeth Oliver accepted the digital timepiece on behalf of the store.
The second prize winner was Eli Antypas Jewelers in Toledo, Ohio, with Eli Antypas accepting a 42 mm stainless steel Apple Watch.
King Jewelers of Cohasset, Mass. was the third and final prize winner, with Mark Michael accepting a 38 mm Apple Watch with a silver aluminum case and white sport band.
Julie Franco, vice president of sales at Charles Garnier Paris, said customers were so receptive to the drawing that the brand will hold additional raffles at future shows, including Luxury Prive, IJO, and Southern Jewelry Travelers Association Atlanta.
“We believe everyone was a winner,” she said. “All who came to the Charles Garnier Paris booth were the first to review the (new) collection … Those who bought the collection are happy to be the first to carry the collection in their store.”
