Basel--After what it said was a successful first show, the Rapaport Group has announced it will host the Diamond Show at Baselworld again next year at the same venue, the Markthalle building.
The 2015 show dates are March 19, 20, 22 and 23. It will be closed on March 21 to observe the Jewish Sabbath.
This year’s Diamond Show drew hundreds of diamond buyers visiting the 70 exhibitors from the United States, Belgium, Hong Kong and the U.K. as well as from Israeli and Indian diamond manufacturing and trading centers, Rapaport said.
“We are extremely pleased with the overall number of visitors that attended our event and the level of activity recorded,” said Mordy Rapaport, director of Rapaport Exhibitions. “The show created a family community of diamantaires who enjoyed each other’s company as they traded diamonds.”
