MSNBC anchor to deliver keynote at JA NY Winter
Your Business host JJ Ramberg will give JA New York Winter attendees and exhibitors tips for running their businesses on Jan. 18, the opening day of the show.

New York--JJ Ramberg, who hosts Your Business, a show dedicated to issues affecting small business owners, will give JA New York Winter attendees tips for running their business on Jan. 18, the show’s opening day.
In a special session presented by show organizers and Jewelers of America, Ramberg will speak to both exhibitors and retailers beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
She’ll offer insight, expertise and practical tips on running a small business, tips she’s garnered as both a business journalist and an entrepreneur. Following the presentation, Ramberg will lead a Q&A session on helping small businesses grow.
“We are thrilled to partner with JA to offer our community such a compelling keynote speaker,” JA New York Show Director Drew Lawsky said. “Holding the session before the show opens offers both retailers and exhibitors the opportunity to benefit from the speaker’s business savvy without taking away from the day’s business.”
JA Director of Education and Public Affairs Susan Posnock said Ramberg was chosen because of her knowledge and experience with both small businesses and retail. “JJ Ramberg was a natural fit and we are delighted to have her kick off the education conference and JA New York show,” Posnock said.
A graduate of Duke University who earned her MBA at Stanford, Ramberg is the author of It’s Your Business--183 Essential Tips that Will Transform Your Small Business, a Wall Street Journal best-seller.
Her show, Your Business, is the only television show dedicated to issues impacting small business owners, according to MSNBC. It is in its seventh season.
The JA New York Winter show is scheduled for Jan. 18 to 20 at the Javits Center in New York. Buyer registration is available on JA-NewYork.com.
In addition to the keynote by Ramberg, the show’s educational sessions will cover topics including online reputation management, search engine optimization (SEO) and 3-D printing. A complete schedule can be found here.
