New York--Anyone attending the Couture show in Las Vegas later this month can enter a contest to win a new Vespa scooter, valued at $10,000.
The contest is open to all show attendees, including both retailers and editors. Participants can pick up entry forms at registration and throughout the show floor and submit them at the NextWave ballroom.
NextWave, a curated collection of designers, will be in a new location at the show this year, moving from the Lafite ballroom to LaTache, where the designers have their own dedicated space.
The winner of the limited-edition 946 Vespa scooter will be announced on Saturday, May 31 during the Couture Design Awards.
The 946 Vespa seats two and features a red leather saddle. The giveaway also will include a custom-created matching helmet.
Couture will cover all expenses associated with shipping the Vespa to the winner.
“We wanted to come up with a creative way to drive traffic to NextWave and to generate some added enthusiasm at the show in general,” Couture Show Director Gannon Brousseau said. “This particular limited-edition Vespa is a perfect fit for our event, it’s both classic and innovative with an emphasis on design.”
