AGS Now Offers Healthcare Coverage to Members
It has partnered with MJM Global Insurance Brokerage for the benefits.
Las Vegas—The American Gem Society has formed a strategic partnership that allows it to offer its members access to healthcare coverage.
The organization partnered with MJM Global Insurance Brokerage, the same company with which Jewelers of America has partnered for healthcare options, to now offer benefits to those wishing to participate.
Through a division of MJM, JewelersHealthCare.com, healthcare premiums are reduced while plan designs and providers stay flexible, enabling jeweler members to understand and take control of their true healthcare costs, the companies said.
AGS members can shop online for their preferred deductible, provider network and effective date, and receive immediate price savings.
Along with the coverage is Prosper Benefits, a non-insurance product including TeleHealth—access to doctors via phone or online 24 hours a day—and HealthAdvocate, which offers access to registered nurses or people experienced in benefits and administrative issues to help users through the system or understanding billing and claims.
“The American Gem Society has heard from many of its members about the rising cost of healthcare coverage and the lack of options or control. JewelersHealthCare.com is providing what we feel is a great solution,” said Katherine Bodoh, CEO of AGS and AGS Laboratories.
