A. Tyler DeScenza, third-generation owner of DeScenza Diamonds, was elected in late October.

Boston--DeScenza Diamonds announced that it has appointed A. Tyler DeScenza as president of the company.
He is a third-generation owner of DeScenza Diamonds, a GIA graduate gemologist and the diamond buyer for the company. He also has served on DeScenza Diamonds’ board of directors for 20 years.
In his new role, DeScenza will oversee operations, buying and the general direction of the company as it evolves.
He takes over for Neil MacIsaac, who is still working in sales at the company.

“I am happy to be able to continue the leadership brought to the company initially by my grandfather, Al DeScenza, then my father, Fred DeScenza, and most recently by my cousin, Neil MacIsaac,” Tyler DeScenza said. “We pride ourselves on a strong tradition of building customer relationships and vendor partnerships that span more than a century. Our employees bring knowledge and an appreciation of fine jewelry to every customer interaction and help us provide what we like to call ‘the DeScenza Difference.’ In this day and age, we feel blessed to say that we are one family, spanning four generations, for more than 100 years.”
