New Pavilions on Tap for JA New York Fall Show

Both Jewelers of America and the International Colored Gemstone Association will have dedicated areas at the jewelry trade show.

The spring 2024 JA New York jewelry trade show
JA New York Fall is scheduled to take place Oct. 27-29 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and will include an area dedicated to colored gemstones and a large Jewelers of America pavilion.
New York—The JA New York show will return this fall featuring a new pavilion showcasing colored gemstones and an enhanced partnership with Jewelers of America.

Scheduled for Oct. 27-29, JA New York Fall will include a 1,600-square-foot flagship pavilion for Jewelers of America.

The area will highlight the association’s services, benefit partners, and advocacy work. It will include an 800-square-foot exhibition space for JA supplier members, and an additional 400-square-foot area dedicated to 10 jewelry designers.

During JA New York Fall, Jewelers of America also will host one of its Multifaceted Learning Workshops, the day-long education events the organization has been holding around the country all year; the last one took place in July in Rhode Island.

“Jewelers of America has a long-standing partnership with the JA New York shows,” said Jewelers of America President and CEO David Bonaparte.

“We work closely with JA New York to bring our members value and look forward to having a pavilion of Jewelers of America members at the October show, as well as hosting a day of education with our Multifaceted Learning Workshop.”

JA New York Fall also will include an elevated, 800-square-foot gemstone pavilion, which is being organization in conjunction with International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA).

ICA has about 700 members representing all areas of the global gem trade, from mine to market.

The ICA Pavilion at the upcoming JA New York show will cater to a wide variety of gemstone buyers, from retail outlets with in-house bench jewelers to manufacturers to independent designers, show organizers said.

“We are always looking for favorable opportunities for our ICA members to expand their reach among motivated, qualified buyers,” said ICA CEO Douglas Hucker.

“The timing of the JA New York Fall show is advantageous for stocking up in time for the busy holiday selling season and the venue is conveniently located for both our U.S.-based and international dealers. We are delighted to align with JA New York in the creation of a dedicated ICA pavilion and we are hopeful that this is a first milestone in an ongoing partnership that is mutually beneficial to the success of both of our organizations.”

JA New York Fall is scheduled for Oct. 27-29 at the Javits Center.

National Jeweler is a for-profit subsidiary of Jewelers of America, which purchased the publication in 2015. The two organizations act independently of each other.
