Nominations Are Open for the 2025 Gem Awards
Submissions in the categories of Jewelry Design, Media Excellence, and Retail Excellence will be accepted through this Friday, Aug. 23.

The Gem Awards committee is accepting submissions in the categories of Jewelry Design, Media Excellence, and Retail Excellence from now through this coming Friday, Aug. 23.
As of this year, all submissions must be self nominations. Previously, people could nominate themselves or someone else.
“The new self-nomination process will give each designer, editor, and retail brand the ability to show the Gem Awards committee their designs, achievements, and innovative strategies from the past year that make them deserving of a coveted Gem Awards nomination,” said Amanda Gizzi, director of PR and events for Jewelers of America.
The Gem Awards committee will review all submissions and select the final Gem Award nominees/honorees in each category.
The committee will announce the selected nominees, and a panel of industry experts will vote to choose the winners.
The experts’ ballots then will be sent to an independent firm to count the votes and keep the results confidential. The winners will be revealed live at the Gem Awards ceremony.
The 2025 Gem Awards are scheduled for Friday, March 14, 2025, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York.
The annual event recognizes the achievements of individuals and companies whose work raises the visibility of fine jewelry and watches.
