Leitzel’s Jewelry is Opening a New Store on Chocolate Ave.
The family-owned business’s second store is set to open in Hershey, Pennsylvania, in June.

Hershey, Pa.--What’s a better combination than jewelry and chocolate?
Third generation jeweler Leitzel’s Jewelry is banking on the pairing being a hit as they open their second location at 1661 Chocolate Avenue in Hershey, Pennsylvania, this June.
Their flagship is located in nearby Meyerstown.
“The building was vacant for quite some time,” second-generation owner Ceylon Leitzel said of the new location, which he purchased in September.
Leitzel said the building, which formerly was a bank, had been unoccupied for a year.
“It is a prime location in a vibrant community. I was excited about the opportunity to make the building great again and bring our jewelry and customer service to the area,” he said.
The new store is being renovated to house a jewelers’ workshop for on-site repairs, a custom design studio for new pieces and an 1,800-square-foot showroom.
Allison Leitzel Williams, a third generation member of the Leitzel family, is the store’s buyer and is stocking the new location with diamond jewelry from little-known brands alongside pieces from larger companies like Pandora, Sylvie, Citizen, Seiko and Naledi.
“We have received a lot of positive feedback from our current customers in Hershey and Palmyra,” Leitzel Williams said.
“I’m excited to provide a more convenient shopping experience to guests who already travel to work with us in Myerstown, as well as have the opportunity to meet and serve new customers in Palmyra, Hershey and Hummelstown.”
Leitzel’s Jewelry on Chocolate Avenue will open June 1. The company will announce special opening-related events on its Facebook page.
Leitzel’s is looking for full and part-time employees for its new store. For more information, contact Allison Leitzel Williams at mail@leitzelsjewelry.com.
