Natural Diamond Council To Host Club in Vegas
Appointments can be made ahead of time for access to exclusive events.
The Natural Diamond Council is opening its “Natural Diamond Club,” inside the Yardbird Table & Bar Restaurant in The Venetian, as pictured in the rendering above, from May 30 to June 2.
Las Vegas—The Natural Diamond Council is launching the “Natural Diamond Club,” an offering that will take place during the JCK and Couture shows next month in Las Vegas.
NDC, in partnership with Okavango Diamond Company (ODC), will host an exclusive set-up inside Yardbird Table & Bar Restaurant in The Venetian from May 30 to June 2.
ODC is a rough diamond marketing company owned in full by the Botswana government and is the first non-mining member of NDC.
Described as a lounge experience, NDC said the club will offer complimentary food and beverage, as well as a look into its latest initiatives and partnerships.
The club is also hosting events.
On Thursday, May 30, current NDC retail partners can attend an invitation-only opening party with cocktails and hors d’eouvres from 4-7 p.m. It will also include an exclusive look at Only Natural Diamonds’ Spring/Summer 2024 print magazine and upcoming not-yet-released global campaigns.

A preview of Marion Fasel’s first engagement ring coffee table book, “True Romance - A Journey Through the Legendary Styles and Stories of Natural Diamond Engagement Rings,” will be held Friday, May 31, at 9 a.m.
The book includes the history of the styles and stories of famous natural diamond engagement rings. It will be published this fall in collaboration with NDC, the group said.
A cocktail launch party for Only Natural Diamonds’ Spring/Summer 2024 magazine, featuring an unnamed celebrity guest, is slated for that evening from 4-7 p.m.
The event will include cocktails and hors d’eouvres.
A trivia night dubbed “Think You Know Diamonds?” will take place on Saturday, June 1, from 4-7 p.m. and will include a bourbon tasting.
The game starts at 5 p.m. and will be hosted by gemologist Grant Mobley of NDC.
On Sunday, June 2, an “Extraordinary Diamonds and Provenances Talk” panel discussion featuring Aaron Celestian, the curator of Los Angeles’ Natural History Museum; Susan Jacques, the CEO of GIA; and rare gem collector Larry West will be held at from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
The “Lunch and Learn” event will be moderated by Mobley.
An NDC Club cocktail reception will take place from 4-7 p.m.
Space for all events is limited and RSVP is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
For those who are not current NDC partners, access to the event RSVP platform requires an appointment, the group said.
