Virginia Jewelers Raise Nearly $23K for Children’s Hospital
Ten jewelers from Richmond held a jewelry raffle to support the Children’s Hospital Foundation at Virginia Commonwealth University.

The jewelers donated jewels for a raffle held during the Children’s Hospital Foundation Ball in
November.
The 2023 Jewels for Children Raffle raised $22,950 for the Children’s Hospital Foundation at Virginia Commonwealth University.
The following independent, family-owned jewelers donated pieces valued at approximately $5,000 to the 2023 Jewels for Children Raffle: Carreras Jewelers, Cheryl Fornash Jewelers, Cowardin’s Jewelers, Dransfield Jewelers, Fink’s Jewelers, Lustre by Adolf, Charles Schwarzschild Jewelers, Schwarzschild Jewelers, Victoria Charles Jewelry, and Alan Furs and Fine Jewelry.
The above jewelers have donated to the raffle each year since its founding in 2009.
Created by Cheryl Fornash of Cheryl Fornash Jewelers, the event has raised more than $200,000 for Richmond-area nonprofits.
