Frank Adams Jewelers Named ‘Family Business of the Year’
The Albany Business Review recently honored the 100-year-old company.

The Capital Region jeweler celebrated its centennial last year.
Founder Frank H. Adams set up shop in downtown Albany in 1922, running a watch repair business. The generations that followed grew the family-owned company into a luxury watch and jewelry retailer.
The fourth-generation-run company is an official Rolex retailer and stocks several designer jewelry brands, including David Yurman, Kwiat, Roberto Coin, Ippolita, and Jade Trau.
Its secret to success may be its focus on one principle: It’s all about the customer.
“Everything we do is through the lens of our clients,” said Kimberly Adams Russell, president of Frank Adams Jewelers.
“In the world of online shopping, we have been privileged to have such a dedicated consumer base. We take pride in offering unique, elevated customer experiences that you can’t find elsewhere. That’s what keeps us going, and we are eternally grateful for the community’s continued support.”
The company will relocate to a new flagship location at 144 Wolf Road in Colonie, New York, in February 2024.
The freestanding, 7,500-square-foot store will “help foster a more intimate shopping experience,” said the retailer, and will allow it to build on its relationships with brand partners.
