London Jewelers Names New COO
Olivier Nourani, who worked at Van Cleef & Arpels for nearly a decade, joins the family-owned jeweler from Ladurée.

Olivier Nourani joins the fourth-generation, family-owned jeweler from French hospitality brand Ladurée, where he served as COO overseeing the company’s expansion in the United States.
Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade at Van Cleef & Arpels, working first in finance before becoming vice president of business development for the U.S., Canada and Brazil.
Nourani joins London Jewelers as part of its planned transition to the fourth generation of the Udell family.
Initially, he will report to CEO Mark Udell and President Candy Udell. Current COO Tim Claire will continue with the company as director of operations through the ongoing transition.
Nourani said he is pleased to return to the jewelry and watch industries and looks forward to working for a family-owned business.
London Jewelers got its start in 1926 when Charles London opened a store selling and servicing clocks and watches on School Street in Glen Cove, New York.
Today, the company is one of the tri-state’s top retailers of jewelry, watches and giftware with stores in Glen Cove, as well as in Manhasset, Greenvale, East Hampton and Southampton, New York, and Short Hills, New Jersey.
Mark was inducted into the National Jeweler Retailer Hall of Fame in 1992.
Candy is among the 2023 inductees.
