Accutron Watches Has Its Very Own Whiskey
The watch brand partnered for the second time with Hudson Whiskey on a limited-edition blend.

To fête the occasion, the Citizen-owned watch brand has announced its second partnership with Hudson Whiskey for the Accutron 62nd Anniversary blend.
The whiskey is distilled from corn and rye grown in New York and matured in American oak barrels.
The resulting flavor is bold and full-bodied with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and lightly salted caramel, according to Hudson Whiskey.
The two brands initially partnered in 2020, the same year Citizen Watch rebranded Bulova Accutron to just Accutron and the year the watch company launched a podcast focusing on Americana and fellow brands with rich American heritages.
Recently, Brendan O’Rourke, the site leader and chief distiller at Tuthilltown Spirits, the producer of Hudson Whiskey, appeared on an episode of “The Accutron Show” to talk about the new blend.
“I was very excited to collaborate with Accutron for a second time,” he said.
“When we began discussing ideas, it was clear that everyone wanted to do something new and unique for both brands. After tasting nine different blends—never before sampled outside our team—a bourbon and rye blend was crowned the winner. The blend has complexity and depth that nicely represents the heritage of Accutron and Hudson Whiskey.”
There are only 144 bottles available of the blend, which comes with a dedicated Accutron label.
Citizen Watch America Managing Director of Luxury Brands Michael Benavente said, “The whiskey aging process cannot be rushed; a blend must go through the proper time and stages to become special and distinctive.
“In the case of this limited Accutron x Hudson Whiskey blend, much like the creation of a watch, it is the fusion of many separate components to engineer in the end, the perfect balance of accuracy and aesthetics.”
