The Plumb Club Set to Launch Jewelers Resource Center
The free virtual learning and meeting platform will debut with an event March 2.

The free virtual learning and meeting platform, part of The Plumb Club’s TPC-365 platform, features a searchable database of jewelry industry resources and articles.
Visitors can select the learning style that works best for them, with modules offered in readable form or auditory and visual formats.
The platform also keeps visitors up to date with industry headlines and daily precious metals pricing, and provides a place to source qualified service providers or view a library of jewelry tables, charts, articles, and links that may help with daily business needs.
It will kick off with an event held in a “virtual auditorium,” followed by three weeks of educational presentations, scavenger hunts, and prizes.
The launch event, slated for Wednesday, March 2 at 2 p.m. EST, will take visitors on a tour of the center, followed by a presentation titled “Is a Tsunami Coming: The Diamond Dilemma,” providing insight into the diamond and diamond jewelry category, industry issues, the lab-grown diamond market, and how a retailer can remain competitive, among other things.
Panelists are Elliot Tannenbaum of Leo Schachter, Dave Meleski of The Richline Group, and Sue Rechner of WD Lab Grown Diamonds.
There will also be a seminar featuring retailers, manufacturers, and representatives from the Responsible Jewelry Council to talk about the growing consumer desire for sustainability and credibility and how retailers can translate their work in the area into sales.
After the session, retailers will be able to take part in a scavenger hunt and potentially win prizes, like Dom Perignon champagne and Godiva chocolate or in-store training and an expert website analysis and report.
