Sissy’s Log Cabin Is Opening Its Sixth Store
The family-owned jeweler will open a store in West Little Rock, Arkansas this spring.

The Arkansas-based jeweler will open a new store in West Little Rock in early May at The Promenade at Chenal, an outdoor shopping destination.
The space is currently undergoing interior renovations. When finished, it will include state-of-the-art jewelry displays, said the company in a press release about the opening.
“We are excited to join the rapid growth of West Little Rock and to take part in building its future,” said William Jones, vice president of operations for Sissy’s Log Cabin.
“Expanding our business in this flourishing area gives us the opportunity to meet and serve new clients and provide greater service to our current clients in Central Arkansas.”
Robert Dooms, a longtime Sissy’s Log Cabin employee with expertise in fine jewelry sales, will manage the new store.
The family-owned and -operated jewelry store was founded in 1970 by Sissy Jones.
Its other Arkansas locations are in Pine Bluff, Little Rock Heights, Jonesboro, and Conway. Sissy’s Log Cabin also has a store in Memphis, Tennessee.
Sissy is a member of National Jeweler’s Retailer Hall of Fame, inducted in 2017.
Her husband and longtime secretary and treasurer of the family business, Murphy Jones, died in April 2017 at the age of 81.
